The story
Annalakshmi is unique in Singapore — diners pay what they think the meal is worth, with no set price. Run entirely by volunteers connected to the Temple of Fine Arts (a global Hindu arts foundation), profits fund Indian classical music, dance, and culture programmes. The name honours Annapurna, the Hindu goddess of food.
