The story
Penang-born Chef Mano Thevar opened his eponymous restaurant on Keong Saik Road in 2020, earning one Michelin star within a year and two stars by 2022. The restaurant later moved to Mohamad Sultan Road. The cooking blends classical French technique with the Indian flavours of Mano's upbringing — think Chettinad chicken roti, Brittany lobster in curry beurre blanc. The Experience Menu is the only option; vegetarians need to pre-book.
