The story
SanSara — Sanskrit for 'to flow' — opened in 2023 inside the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel and won TripAdvisor's Best Indian Restaurant in Singapore within a year. Master Chef Pannalal Nath, from West Bengal but with 25+ years across North India, runs the kitchen with a focus on Awadhi cuisine, the refined Mughal-influenced cooking from Lucknow. The 2025 renovation introduced Taj Mahal-inspired interiors. Named to Luxury Lifestyle Awards' Top 100 Restaurants of the World.
